awesome !
great for summer vacations.
canon 40d I think
Depends on your income and need. That is why they have crop.
I’m not paying over 2 grand for this even tho its great
The black dot issue has been resolved with a firmware update.
In Live View, I’m fairly sure most newer Canon cameras have a quiet shutter mode. You do have to hold the release button (or some sort of button, I don’t remember which), and when you let go the mirror cocks. So you’ll have to mosey to a place where you can let the mirror slap back.
What Cannon lack to posses is what i need most right now – quiet mirror and shutter mechanisms! When I shot the event like classiic concert or theatre play, the last thing i wish to spread around is machine-gun-like sounds from canon (appropriete name isn’t it?). So i stick to d200 for now, waiting for something quieter in the future…
Can anyone tell me if the black dot issue has been resolve?
saying all of this i still prefere the phots of canon digitals…i have not got the same colour quality when since using nikon…but colour quality is nothing if you cant get the picture you want because the control isnt there.
peace
Brian
i would love to hear your opinion instead of just “im saying”
the shutter/aperture controls feel awarkd and i have alot of finger dexterity as i have played guitar and piano for over 15 years.
Their viewfinders are nothing special
they dont som much feel like a photographers camera anymore instead a electronics company akin to sony or panasonic…
they dont have any quirks ie lens signature..i know this is the way things are moving but atleast nikon allow you to use old lenses on their cameras.
they lack direct controls so menu diving is invitable
well why then? justify your statements otherwise its just nonsense…its like everyone on youtube are walking adverts parroting slogans without any thought process.
Ill explain what i think disprove me if you want
their cameras to me feel like they where not meant for human hands the four rows of buttons controlling iso wb etc are indistinguishable without looking you cant turn it off without moving you face off the camera, the af is stone age …
i agree haha its rediculous
im saying lol
theres no such thing as best but and the hd video isnt really what the camera is about but you are right it is better than the a99 technically
ummm can it record full hd video?
no
then quiet
a99 is from sony
canon is the best company for cameras
anticimexxx
5d is a really bad camera….picture is poor…give it to me and I will trade you a Nikon d40..which is much a beginners dslr. Your getting a bargain.
Thanks for the video! I just bought a 5D Mark II today and these two videos served as a very handy primer!
The Alpha 900 is much more “camera” than this!
Ciao
I dont understand….who really needs that camera!?, i just upgrade from 30D to a 5D cause i wanted to shoot digital with 35 mm full frame format. heck i would use my L lenses with my K2.
Does anybody want to be a photographer anymore..not just a camera ADDICT!?
I wish it has a build in flash. Sometime I know I don’t need powerful flashing.
Don’t you know there actually ARE camcorders with interchangeable lenses?
No you didn’t.
this camera looks insane. high end.
I am surprsed to see Hd movie mode in dslr camera.
This doesn’t really seem to be a review at all…it’s just a guy stating the basic specifications and features of the 5D2, but this stuff can be read off Canon’s website.
The actual review on the cameralabs website is much more useful
Check out my other website dslrtips . com for some tutorials…
i have the canon eos 5d and i barely know how to use it. My dad brought it home from work cause he knows I’ve been looking for a dslr, i know it’s not a good first camera but i just want to mess around with it. If you could help me out that’d be great.
thanks
